Great to meet you!
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. This means I have specialized training in couples and relationship therapy, but I also have 7 years experience in counseling for anxiety, depression, and trauma.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. This means I have specialized training in couples and relationship therapy, but I also have 7 years experience in counseling for anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I use a mixed approach to therapy, using both humanistic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques. This means that you will feel supported and affirmed during our sessions while also walking away with concrete skills that you can use. I have training and experience working with the LGBTQ+ and non-monogamous communities, so I promise to always provide a safe, non-judgmental space.
Starting therapy can be intimidating, so I always strive to have a warm and welcoming environment for my clients. Together, you and I will establish your goals for our counseling sessions. Then we will work on those goals by introducing you to new tools/skills in session and practicing them through weekly homework. I work to empower my clients to use their natural strengths and build self-confidence that will translate to lasting change.
