Amanda Block

My name is Amanda and I am a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I began my journey as an NP working in outpatient in January of 2020. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner I was a Registered Nurse who worked in both inpatient and emergency psychiatric settings.

I find that utilizing an approach which allows a client to provide input to their treatment plan, improves upon compliance and outcomes. Providing individualized treatment is important to me because no two people are alike and every person is unique, therefore their care should be specialized to reflect this.

I combine medical testing, pharmaceutical medications and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to help improve upon the mental health states of individuals with numerous different diagnoses. It is my goal to help clients find improvement in their everyday life through utilizing this multifaceted approach.
