Great to meet you!

Hi I'm Amanda, an Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 5 years' experience supporting adult survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and sexual abuse in their healing journeys. Beforehand I worked with college students and in a community mental health setting. Whatever brings you to therapy, I'm looking forward to supporting you throughout this journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is humanistic and person-centered which means support with no judgement and an honest, transparent, genuine therapeutic relationship.

I use interventions ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Theory, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. In my work I have helped patients navigate and develop healthy coping mechanisms for PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, self-esteem, and personality disorders.

What you can expect from me

I provide a warm, welcoming, safe environment where we can talk about what brings you to therapy, the changes you would like to see in your life, and how best to tailor therapy to fit your lifestyle and personal preferences.
