My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I combine cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and practical skill-building to help clients understand their patterns and make meaningful changes in their lives. I work from a place of authenticity and honesty while providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences openly. I believe in meeting clients exactly where they are, helping them develop emotional insight, strengthen their coping skills, and reconnect with their sense of identity and resilience. My goal is to empower clients to make lasting changes through clarity, self-awareness, and practical tools they can use every day.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, structured, and supportive conversation focused on understanding their concerns, goals, and personal history. I take time to learn what brings them to therapy, what they hope to gain, and how their current challenges are affecting their daily life. We will identify initial goals together and begin discussing a treatment plan tailored to their needs. Clients can expect clear communication, thoughtful questions, and a space that feels safe, grounded, and free of judgment. My priority in the first session is to help clients feel understood, comfortable, and confident that they have a partner in the therapeutic process who is committed to their growth.
