Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm Amanda Case, Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Texas. I have over 10 years of experience in the social work field working with clients from all backgrounds.

I specialize in working with adults across the lifespan—ages 18 to 64—as well as older adults, with extensive experience supporting clients 65 and older through transitions, grief, identity shifts, and the challenges that can arise later in life.

I bring compassion, curiosity, and just the right amount of structure to help you feel safe, supported, and empowered. This isn't about fixing you, it's about walking alongside you as you explore, heal, and grow.

My approach is relational, down to earth, and always guided by the belief that you already carry so much wisdom, and therapy can help you reclaim it!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported. Our work together is guided by your unique needs, goals, and lived experiences. I view therapy as a partnership, where your voice, autonomy, and pace are respected throughout the healing process.

I integrate several evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support trauma processing and meaningful change. This includes somatic practices to help reconnect with the body, build nervous system regulation, and access the body’s innate wisdom, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Together, these approaches allow us to move beyond simply talking about experiences and toward deeper, more lasting change—emotionally, mentally, and physically. My goal is to support healing that is not only understood cognitively, but also felt and embodied, helping you develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and capacity for connection.

Whether you’re navigating relationship stress, burnout, unresolved trauma, or seeking a healthier work-life balance, my goal is to provide a space where you can be your whole self and where healing becomes possible, one step at a time.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy sessions can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal to feel a mix of emotions: nervous, curious, even a little unsure. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and fully yours.

I believe that no two people are the same, and your experiences, strengths, and needs are entirely your own. Because of that, our work together won't be a "one size fits all". My approach will be collaborative, flexible, and tailored to you. Whether that means working through past pain, finding ways to cope in the present, or building something new for your future!

You don't need to have the "right words" or a clear plan. Just come as you are! We'll take it one step at a time, together.
