Great to meet you!
Hi, I'm Amanda.
I know what it's like to be the one everyone depends on—the strong friend, the helper, the problem solver. The person who keeps showing up for everyone else, while quietly carrying challenges of your own.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe therapy should feel less like sitting across from an expert and more like having an honest conversation with someone who truly sees you. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to be fully ourselves.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, and the many identities we carry throughout our lives. As a Black therapist, I understand the importance of having a space where you don't have to explain your lived experience before you're understood.
Whether you're processing grief, adjusting to parenthood, feeling overwhelmed by the weight of always being "strong," or simply longing for a place where you can exhale, my goal is to help you reconnect with yourself and build the life you want—not just survive it.
When I'm not working, you'll probably find me spending time with my family, enjoying good food or dreaming up new ways to build community through my wellness brand The We Collective.
My hope is that when you leave our sessions, you feel a little lighter, a little more understood, and reminded that you don't have to carry everything alone.
