Great to meet you!

I’m Amanda Chilleme, a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor committed to guiding individuals on their journey toward mental and emotional well-being. I hold a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from Florida Atlantic University and bring over a decade of experience in the mental health field to my practice.

Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face, including the uncertainty and vulnerability that can come with considering therapy. I recognize that taking the first step toward seeking support is not always easy, and I strive to create a welcoming, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel safe, heard, and empowered to begin their journey toward healing and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

Over the past decade, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. My areas of specialization include addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families, and I recognize that each person's experiences, needs, and goals are unique.

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to the individual. I integrate evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Brainspotting, to help clients gain insight, process difficult experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Areas of Focus: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Attachment-Related Difficulties, Personality Disorders, Addiction, and Relationship Challenges.

What you can expect from me

I understand that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming. You may be unsure whether therapy will truly help, feel pressured to be further along in life than you are, or struggle to envision a path forward. I believe that healing and personal growth are not linear processes, and you do not have to have everything figured out before taking the first step.

My approach to therapy is holistic, individualized, and collaborative. I recognize that every person brings their own experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals into the therapeutic process. I tailor my approach to meet you where you are, honoring your unique needs and allowing growth to unfold at a pace that feels right for you.

Above all, I value the therapeutic relationship and strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, build confidence in your ability to navigate life's challenges, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
