Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a licensed psychologist with experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. My professional background includes extensive work in clinical and forensic mental health settings, which has shaped my ability to approach each person with curiosity, empathy, and an understanding of the many factors that influence mental health and well-being. I work with adults experiencing concerns related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, difficulties with emotional regulation, addiction, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and individualized. I believe that meaningful change begins with creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, while also feeling appropriately challenged and supported as they work toward their goals. I integrate evidence-based interventions with a practical, strengths-focused approach tailored to each client's needs, personality, and circumstances. My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment where we can work together to identify what is keeping you stuck, build on your existing strengths, and develop strategies that help you feel more confident and fulfilled in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin identifying what you would like to gain from therapy. I’ll ask about what brought you in, your current concerns, relevant background, and what you hope might feel different as a result of our work together.

My goal is for the first session to feel conversational, comfortable, and collaborative rather than like an interview. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable for you. We’ll begin discussing your goals, identify areas you would like to focus on, and talk about how we can tailor therapy to your individual needs.

Most importantly, the first session gives you an opportunity to get a sense of my style and determine whether you feel comfortable working together. By the end, we’ll have a clearer idea of where you’d like to go and how we can begin working toward meaningful, practical change.
