Great to meet you!

I have been practicing counseling since 2004 and have worked in pretty much every scenario possible from prescreening in the emergency room during the pandemic (that was fun), to my early days of group and family work in inpatient psychiatric settings. I started providing Telehealth services in the later part of 2020 and have found this platform to be as meaningful and powerful as in person work. My ambition is to combine the technical experience gained from the science of psychology with my desire to fulfill my professional, ethical, and Christian commission: To utilize my skills and training to give hope to the hopeless, heal the sick, and help set the oppressed free.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in Trauma Therapy (EMDR, Grief and Trauma Yoga), Grief Work, Creative Art & Music Therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work) to help positively influence lives and promote wholistic healing from everything from anxiety, panic attacks and depressive symptomology to substance use disorders.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will typically be addressing any questions or concerns you may have about therapy, me asking ALOT of questions, as well as us discussing your goals for therapy, forming a treatment plan, potential treatment modalities, and scheduling (frequency of sessions). I also like to provide at least one healthy coping response that you can start applying to your life immediately during and after our initial session.
