Great to meet you!

Do you have an Instagram life with a buried authentic self? That gap is exactly where the work happens. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, high-functioning depression, career dissatisfaction, and major life transitions — combining psychoanalytic therapy with Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help you get from where you are to where you want to be. Psychoanalytic work is where the real, lasting change happens — it’s how we get underneath the presenting problem to the patterns actually driving it, rather than just managing surface symptoms. DBT gives you a concrete road map for daily life while that deeper work is underway.

My approach to therapy

I work with DBT and psychoanalysis and am consistent in use of those, but I also believe every client is unique and takes a unique approach. I will work with you to make sure you understand and agree with the direction we take and the way we get there. I am straightforward as well as nonjudgmental, and clients can expect to feel heard and understood.

What you can expect from me

In the first session you can tell me what you want to change and we can figure out how I might help you to get where you want to go. We will set up expectations of how sessions will move forward. Don’t be nervous about the first session - there are no wrong answers.
