Great to meet you!

I bring over 30 years of experience in healthcare, primarily in emergency medicine, and have been a nurse for 26 years. My background includes a master’s degree in nursing forensics and post-master’s certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Beyond my professional work, I am also a wife and mother, which gives me a well-rounded perspective on life’s challenges. I approach care with compassion, understanding, and respect, focusing on helping you become your best self.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care centers on creating a safe, supportive space where you can openly explore the underlying reasons behind your symptoms or condition. I believe in working collaboratively with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects your needs, goals, and values. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I take a holistic view—looking at the whole picture to better understand the “why” behind what you’re experiencing. This deeper understanding helps guide more meaningful and lasting care.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where you can share your story and what has brought you to courageously seek care. I understand that starting something new can feel intimidating, and it’s completely normal to feel some nervousness. This initial appointment is focused on getting to know you—your experiences, your concerns, and your goals for becoming your best self. Together, we’ll begin building a foundation of trust and start identifying the path forward that feels right for you.
