Great to meet you!

I've been working in the mental health field since 2017. I've worked with children in elementary schools all the way up to elder adults with concerns such as: addictions, mood disorders, relationship issues, low self-esteem, and a lack of direction. I enjoy working with motivated and curious people wanting to work through trauma, learn more about themselves, and gain skills to feel more prepared for the waves of life.

My approach to therapy

I tend to have a gentle approach and once our relationship has been established, I will begin to ask thought-provoking questions to help you reflect on the thought processes, perspectives, choices you are making in life that are impacting your world. I explain the "why" behind what we are doing because I think if you have an understanding of the "why", you'll feel more empowered to try it.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm and calm atmosphere. We will introduce ourselves to each other, go over administrative details (communication, insurance, documentation, frequency of sessions, etc.), and then for the majority of our time, we will be talking about what brought you into therapy today. We will cover some past experiences (what life was like growing up, school, family, friends, etc.) as well as aspects of your present-day life (work/school, family, friends/relationships, hobbies).
