Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist with over ten years of experience working with people in a variety of settings. I have been practicing therapy for five years and established my Private Practice in March of 2025.

I enjoy working with clients who are motivated towards making changes in their day-to-day lives. However, therapy is slow work. That's why my foundation always starts with getting to know who you are through safety, trust, and autonomy. I work alongside you at a pace thats comfortable for you.

I focus on individual therapy utilizing therapeutic approaches including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am committed to being a trauma-informed therapist focusing on the impacts of trauma, physical and emotional safety, empowerment, autonomy, and trust.

My approach to therapy

I offer individual therapy focusing on collaboration and building a trusting relationship- you are the expert in your own life. My job is to use my training and experience to help guide you to living authentically. This can look many different ways based on your goals. I practice from a narrative-based therapy, prioritizing your story, values, and identities first. I encourage my client’s to come into counseling with whatever is on your mind that day. I’ll ask questions, notice patterns, and work together to develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

What you can expect from me

We begin by getting to know each other. First session I will explain important parts of therapy such as confidentiality, working with insurance, and creating a individual treatment plan to meet your goals. I recommend clients begin therapy by meeting at a set time each week. A big part of success in therapy is commitment and consistency. If/when we meet your therapeutic goals’ we can assess the need for weekly therapy and move towards bi-weekly or monthly sessions.

Consistency in therapy helps to create a reliable structure for us to begin working towards your goals.
