Great to meet you!

I help adults reconnect with the strong, energized version of themselves they feel they’ve lost through burnout, stress, parenting, demanding careers, or years of putting themselves last. I especially enjoy working with former athletes, overwhelmed parents, high-achieving professionals, and individuals navigating burnout or major life transitions. They often struggle with boundaries, people-pleasing, chronic stress, and feeling disconnected from their identity and confidence. I value authenticity, humor, accountability, and practical tools that clients can apply in everyday life. My goal is to help people move beyond survival mode and develop a more balanced, sustainable lifestyle that supports both their mental and physical well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is supportive, direct, and collaborative—I aim to create an environment where clients feel understood while also challenged to grow. Together, we focus on building realistic habits, improving emotional resilience, strengthening boundaries, and reducing self-sabotaging patterns so clients can feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to themselves again. I value authenticity, humor, accountability, and practical tools that clients can apply in everyday life.

As a therapist, I take a holistic and strengths-based approach that integrates mental health support with the mind-body connection. My work combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and somatic or movement-oriented strategies to help clients create sustainable change. I believe movement can be a powerful gateway to emotional healing, stress reduction, confidence-building, and reconnecting with yourself in a healthier and more compassionate way.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a supportive, relaxed, and judgment-free environment where we begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to help clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood from the beginning. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, the challenges you’ve been facing, and the goals you hope to work toward—whether that involves burnout, stress, anxiety, boundaries, motivation, relationships, self-confidence, or reconnecting with yourself physically and emotionally.

I take a collaborative and strengths-based approach, meaning I’m not only focused on symptoms or problems, but also on identifying your existing strengths, resilience, and abilities. During the first session, I’ll ask questions about your background, lifestyle, stressors, relationships, coping patterns, and overall emotional well-being to gain a deeper understanding of your experiences and what may be contributing to feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

Clients can also expect practical support and real conversation. I often incorporate mindfulness, coping skills, mind-body awareness, and goal-setting early in the process so therapy feels both insightful and actionable.

Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns that may no longer be serving you and explore realistic ways to create healthier habits, stronger boundaries, and a more sustainable balance in your life. My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative, with the goal of helping clients feel empowered, supported, and hopeful about change.
