Great to meet you!

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Washington’s Vancouver campus in 2002, followed by a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University in 2008. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in mental health service delivery across a variety of settings, including community mental health, adolescent and adult residential treatment facilities, and school-based programs. I’ve worked with individuals of all ages facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, developmental delays, PTSD, panic attacks, grief, mood disorders, suicidal ideation, and low self-esteem. My expertise includes providing individual, family, and group therapy to support clients in overcoming their struggles and achieving better mental health.

When I am not counseling I enjoy outdoor activities such as horseback riding, hiking, traveling, camping, gardening and spending time with friends and family.

My approach to therapy

I use a variety of approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-focused CBT, relaxation techniques, problem-solving, parenting support, behavioral management, EMDR and mindfulness to help clients.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a get to know each other sessions along with questions that help me understand your therapy goals. I always try to provide a skill or two in the first session if needed.
