Great to meet you!

I’m Amanda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida and nine years of clinical experience. I have worked with adults and couples in outpatient therapy and in crisis stabilization within an acute psychiatric setting. My work centers on helping people navigate periods of change, including pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, the transition into motherhood or fatherhood, changing relationships and family roles, career shifts, and other major life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My style is collaborative, grounded, and direct. I help clients make sense of anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, trauma responses, and relationship strain without treating these concerns as isolated problems. We look at the patterns, experiences, beliefs, and roles that may be influencing what you are going through. I balance practical strategies for managing current challenges with deeper exploration, helping you develop greater self-understanding and respond to your life with more intention and clarity.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to understand what brought you to therapy, what feels most important right now, and what you hope will change. We will talk about what has been happening, how it is affecting your daily life, and any patterns you have begun to notice.

You do not need to have everything figured out or share your entire story at once. We will begin by identifying practical strategies to help you feel more grounded and supported. As therapy continues, we can explore what may be beneath the surface and use those insights to create clearer choices and meaningful change.
