Great to meet you!

I earned my Ed. S. in Counseling from the University of South Carolina. I have worked as a Professional School Counselor since 2016 and in private practice as a Professional Counselor since 2022. I specialize in supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I also work with youth and families, members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their loved ones, as well as individuals with special needs and their families.

My approach to therapy

I approach counseling with a genuine commitment to your well-being, blending empathy, evidence-based methods, and a warm, collaborative spirit. Together, we will focus on your strengths, recognizing that you are the expert of your own life. While life’s challenges may sometimes cloud our abilities, they also provide opportunities to grow and acquire new skills to navigate them more effectively. I am here to walk with you through these challenges, using person-centered, strengths-based, solution-focused, trauma-sensitive, and culturally informed approaches.

What you can expect from me

I’m eager to understand your stressors, current coping strategies, and your hopes for change. These insights will guide our work together, helping us set meaningful goals for therapy. Let’s embark on this journey, where your strengths shine and positive change unfolds. I look forward to supporting your growth and well-being.
