Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Amanda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel like a safe, welcoming space where you can show up as your full, authentic self. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and everyday stress, and I provide LGBTQ+ affirming care. My approach is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth, with a balance of compassion, honesty, and practical tools to help you create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly without fear of judgment. I’ll meet you where you are, but I’ll also be honest with you and gently challenge you when needed. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in your way, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that actually fit your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand what you’ve been experiencing, what’s important to you, and what you’d like to be different. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or share more than you’re comfortable with. By the end of our session, we’ll begin identifying your goals and what we can work on together in a space that feels comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free.
