Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome!

Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and finding the right provider is a vital part of the process.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and also have a Master’s degree in School Counseling with national certification through the NBCC.

I have nearly 20 years of experience counseling in various capacities: outpatient therapy, mobile therapy, behavior specialist and currently as a school counselor. I am also a mother of three. These experiences bring a deep, real-world understanding of family dynamics, parenting, and life's busy seasons.

In my experience outside of the school setting I work with clients, helping them uncover their true capabilities, quiet the inner critic, and build the confidence to chase and achieve their goals. I am a down-to-earth person who believes that connection, authenticity, and humor are essential to healing.

If you are looking for a supportive counselor to help you navigate life's challenges, I would be honored to walk beside you.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is a partnership. You are the expert on your own life and lived experiences. While I always provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive space, I am also willing to gently push and challenge you so we can get straight to the real issues you want to explore.

Our work together is practical, collaborative, and tailored specifically to you. I integrate solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and person-centered methods within a trauma-informed framework. Whether you are navigating grief, relationship dynamics, family stress, or a major life transition, we will combine your inner wisdom with actionable tools to help you process, shift patterns, and move forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about easing in at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or to tell your entire story all at once.

We will use our time together to get acquainted, talk about what brought you in, and explore what you are hoping to get out of therapy. It is also a great opportunity for you to ask me questions and see how it feels to work together. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and a little lighter, with a clearer sense of the partnership we are building.
