Great to meet you!

I work exclusively with children and adolescents ages 6–17 — and everything about how I practice is built around how young people actually think, feel, and heal.

I specialize in trauma, anxiety, PTSD, depression, OCD, eating concerns, BPD, and the behavioral patterns that can develop when kids are struggling without the right support. I'm also LGBTQIA+ affirming, with specific experience supporting youth navigating gender identity, gender dysphoria, and the particular challenges that come with being a young person figuring out who they are.

I offer a range of approaches that work for different ages and needs — from play therapy and art therapy for younger children to TF-CBT and Narrative Therapy for older adolescents. I also work closely with parents through Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and psychoeducational family approaches when family involvement is part of the healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach adapts to the age and needs of each young person I work with.

For younger children (ages 6–12), I use Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy — modalities that meet children where they are developmentally, using expression and play to process what words can't always reach. Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) strengthens the parent-child relationship directly, giving families real-world tools.

For adolescents, Trauma-Focused CBT is my primary framework for trauma and PTSD. I combine this with CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy to build awareness, coping skills, and identity. Motivational Interviewing helps with teens who are ambivalent about the process.

Throughout, I involve families when appropriate — because healing rarely happens in isolation.

What you can expect from me

For parents: our first session is a chance to share what's been going on, what you've noticed, and what you're hoping changes for your child. I'll ask questions to understand your child's history and current challenges so we can build a plan together.

For adolescents: we'll just talk. No pressure to share everything at once — I'll ask about what's brought you here and what you'd want to feel different. The goal is for you to leave feeling like this might actually be a space that works for you.

My hope is that everyone leaves the first session feeling heard and a little more hopeful.
