Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying anxiety, navigating family challenges, questioning your identity, or trying to find your place in a world that doesn't always feel understanding or supportive. You may be struggling with relationships, cultural expectations, grief, stress, self-esteem, or major life transitions that leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors facing anxiety, family conflict, LGBTQIA+ concerns, cultural and ethnic identity issues, identity exploration, depression, grief and loss, trauma, stress management challenges, and relationship difficulties. Many of my clients come to therapy seeking a space where they can show up authentically, feel genuinely understood, and begin creating meaningful change. Together, we'll explore the experiences that have shaped you, identify strengths that may have been overlooked, and develop practical tools that help you build confidence, resilience, and a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, affirming, and grounded in meeting clients exactly where they are. I believe therapy should provide both emotional support and practical strategies that empower people to create lasting change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Mindfulness-Based interventions, Humanistic Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches to tailor treatment to your unique experiences and goals. In our work together, we may explore anxiety, family dynamics, identity development, LGBTQIA+ experiences, cultural influences, depression, grief, trauma, stress management, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. Therapy is designed to help you better understand yourself, improve communication, strengthen coping skills, develop healthier boundaries, and build confidence in navigating life's challenges while remaining connected to your values and authentic self.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and valued. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is important to me, and I strive to create a space where you can openly explore challenges while feeling safe enough to be your authentic self. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals and develop practical tools that support growth and healing. Through therapy, you may experience reduced anxiety, healthier relationships, increased self-confidence, stronger emotional resilience, and a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences. My goal is to help you feel empowered to navigate life's challenges with clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of purpose and belonging.
