Great to meet you!

I grew up in Texas and have lived in other places, including Oklahoma and El Salvador. During my career thus far, I have worked in various settings with different populations, including at-risk youth, adoption and birth mothers, children in foster care, families, special needs, and parenting.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach therapy with an open mind seeking to understand your perspective and experiences. I hold space for you to process your thoughts, feelings, and perspectives as you work on decompressing or letting out what you've been holding in. I work to see you, hear you, and understand you. I will help you feel connected and use a trauma-informed approach to assure you feel safe and validated.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to be honored and respected. You can expect to feel seen and heard. You can expect that I will also offer truthful observations and work to help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
