Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm Amanda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about supporting adolescents, young adults, and new parents as they navigate some of life's biggest transitions.

I’m passionate about supporting adolescents and new and expecting parents as they navigate life’s transitions, from identity, friendships, school stress, and emotions to the joys and challenges of parenthood. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. For those who find faith or spirituality meaningful, I am happy to incorporate it into therapy when requested, always honoring each client’s individual beliefs and preferences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, genuine, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place where you can be honest, understood, and supported- not judged or told what you "should" be doing. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you build the tools and confidence to move forward.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you, understand what brings you to therapy, and learn what you hope to get out of our time together. We’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, your strengths, and any goals you may have, while also taking time to make sure you feel comfortable and safe. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—therapy is a process, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work we can do together.

If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d love to connect with you. Reach out to schedule a consultation or your first session, and we can begin from wherever you are.
