Great to meet you!

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I provide thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults across the lifespan, with a focus on helping patients better understand the connection between mind, body, and life stressors. My approach combines medication management with supportive, collaborative care so that treatment feels personalized and sustainable.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and life transitions. I also have a strong interest in working with high-functioning adults who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck despite outward success. I also have a passion for the geriatric population, with over a decade of experience working with dementia.

My approach to therapy

I believe effective mental health care should address the whole person. In addition to medication management when appropriate, I help patients explore factors that affect emotional wellbeing such as stress, sleep, lifestyle habits, relationships, and major life changes.

My goal is to create a comfortable, respectful environment where patients feel heard and supported while we work together toward greater stability, clarity, and functioning.

What you can expect from me

The first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and develop a clear understanding of what has been going on for you. We will review your current concerns, personal and medical history, past treatments, and any factors in your life that may be affecting your mental health, such as stress, sleep, relationships, or major life changes.

My goal is to create a comfortable and collaborative environment where you feel heard and understood. Together, we will begin discussing possible treatment options, which may include medication, lifestyle strategies, or other supportive approaches depending on your needs.

Many patients find the first visit helpful because it allows them to organize what they have been experiencing and begin forming a plan for moving forward.
