Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that process feel as comfortable and supportive as possible. I’m a licensed therapist with over 14 years of experience working with adults across a wide range of concerns, and I’ve also spent the past few years in leadership roles supporting and supervising other clinicians.

I work with clients navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and feeling overwhelmed or stuck. Many of the people I work with are used to “holding it all together” on the outside while struggling more than others may realize.

In our work together, you can expect a space that is nonjudgmental, collaborative, and grounded in real conversation. I strive to balance deep understanding with practical tools so you’re not just talking—but also gaining clarity and skills you can use in your daily life.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative and individualized approach to therapy, because no two people or situations are the same. My work is rooted in evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy, along with a strong focus on insight, self-awareness, and strengths.

I help clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while also building practical strategies to manage anxiety, improve communication, and feel more in control.

I don’t believe therapy should feel overly clinical or one-sided. Instead, I aim for a balance of support, honesty, and guidance—helping you feel both understood and gently challenged in a way that leads to meaningful growth.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to start getting to know each other and talk through what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns, your background, and what you’re hoping will be different as a result of therapy.

There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—I’ll help guide the conversation. You’re also welcome to ask questions and get a feel for whether I’m the right fit for you.

By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel heard, more at ease, and to have a clearer sense of next steps and how we can work together moving forward.
