Great to meet you!

I began my career in 2014 by working with intellectually and developmentally disabled clients. My passion has been to help clients and their families through the various challenges they experience.

It is not uncommon trauma and severe life stressors impact us all. Therefore in 2018, I decided to see what approaches health care clinicians were utilizing. In 2021 I realized there is no single approach that is the right one for everyone. This led me to seek an additional two years of clinical supervision.

My educational background includes a MSW from Troy State University. I have a B.A. in liberal arts from Auburn University, and associates of applied science from Southern Union State Community College.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to break the stigma around mental health. I have experience working with most therapeutic modalities; however, generally utilize cognitive behavioral therapy with most of my clients. It starts with a conversation, one idea, and one question. What's on your mind?

What you can expect from me

I try to empower my clients through motivational interviewing and offer a safe space to be themselves and learn how to work through issues while promoting individual growth.
