Great to meet you!

I work with adults and adolescents who feel overwhelmed, anxious, distracted, emotionally exhausted, or simply not like themselves anymore. I have a special interest in ADHD, anxiety, depression, women's mental health, and sleep concerns. As a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner, I look at the whole picture rather than treating a list of symptoms. My goal is to help you understand what is going on, find a treatment plan that makes sense for your life, and ultimately feel more like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

I believe good mental health care starts with listening. I want to know what is actually affecting your day to day life, what you have already tried, what has helped, and what has not. From there, we make decisions together. I am warm and supportive, but also direct when needed. I believe medication should be thoughtful and individualized, with the goal of helping you function better and feel better without losing the parts of yourself that make you who you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is a chance for me to really understand what has been going on and what you want to change. We will talk about your symptoms, health history, medications, sleep, stressors, and previous treatment experiences, including what has and hasn't worked. I'll explain what I think may be contributing and we'll discuss your options together. You should leave with a clear plan and, most importantly, feel like you were actually heard.
