Great to meet you!

I currently hold a counseling license in the state of NJ, a specialty degree in education and am completing my dissertation to obtain a Ph.D in Psychology, specializing in Development.

Learning to control your emotions allows you to get back in the drivers seat, instead of your emotions telling you what you will feel, when you will feel it, and how you will engage with others. Life will not always be the way we wish it was, but it is important to learn to accept the things you cannot change.

My approach to therapy

I have a passion for teaching both individual clients and couples how to ride the waves in life and re-gain control. The therapy modalities I use are DBT, Psychodynamics, and ACT.

In short these therapies teach you to understand why and where your life difficulties come from, how to identify and take control of your emotions, and how to accept what is beyond your control.

What you can expect from me

In therapy we will explore your early life and relationships in great detail. This can be uncomfortable for many clients, but it is an important area in which we are better able to identify where in your development something changed and began creating life long difficulties.
