Amanda Hunt (Buff)

I have over 15 years of clinical experience in the mental health field, and with individual, family, couples, and group therapy. I truly embrace my work as a therapist in helping clients face challenges related to depression, codependency, anger, low self-esteem, addiction, anxiety, stress, relationship conflict, communication, and more.

My therapeutic approach is individualized to the client, family, or couple to ensure their needs are addressed from a caring and empathetic place. Some of my preferences include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) strengths-based, solution-focused (SFT), mindfulness-focused CBT, and dialectical behavior therapy techniques (DBT).

My intention for sessions is to ensure you are heard and understood, as I come from a place of empathy and compassion. I will strive to help you recognize your personal abilities to overcome challenges in your life. I will also help you create a plan to help guide you down the path of your choosing.
