Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Amanda! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who genuinely cares, while also helping you move forward. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or intimidating. My style is laid-back, genuine, and approachable, and I strive to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I’m a good listener who values understanding your unique experiences, and I use humor when it’s appropriate to help make difficult conversations feel a little less overwhelming.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can talk openly, explore challenges, and build the skills needed to create lasting change. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, meeting you where you are while gently challenging you to grow at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I believe healing happens through connection, and I’m honored to be a part of that journey with my clients.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, experiences, and strengths, while giving you plenty of space to share at your own pace. Together, we’ll identify your goals and discuss a plan that feels personalized to your needs. My priority is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
