Great to meet you!

I specialize and am passionate about trauma therapy. I work with children ages 9+, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, navigating the impacts of trauma, life transitions, grief and loss, relational stress, anxiety and depression.

At the center of my work is the therapeutic relationship and what I believe to be at the core of trauma therapy. How you feel about the care you are receiving. I prioritize creating a safe therapeutic environment where people can feel heard, respected, and understood without judgment.

Experiencing trauma can not often be defined in a singular statement or event that occurs. Whether you are coping with the effects of childhood trauma, grief and loss, domestic violence, or major life changes, therapy can help foster resilience, insight, healthier relationships and meaningful growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in honoring each client's resilience and autonomy. I believe therapy should foster empowerment, trust and authentic connection. It is a privilege to witness and hold stories clients choose to share.

My background includes working with victims of crime, historical and developmental trauma, shock trauma, sexual assault, interpersonal family/ domestic violence, human trafficking. Childhood abuse and neglect.

I have certifications and training in: Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Brain Spotting, Compassionate Bereavement Care, Perinatal Mental Health, Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 & 2, Internal Family Systems, Mindful Self-Compassion

What you can expect from me

Our first session we spend time discussing goals of therapy, getting to know if we will be a good fit and finding time to ground and connect.
