Amanda Lerchie

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I earned a B.A. in Applied Behavioral Sciences from Ashford University and a M.A. in Professional Counseling, from Liberty University.

My special interests are working with children and families with special needs and mental health issues. I work with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups from all backgrounds and beliefs. I can additionally implement faith-based Christian counseling.

My focus is from a Client-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach. I frequently integrate traditional talk therapy with creative modalities like expressive arts, play therapy, sand tray therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy; which helps in creating an authentic, therapeutic space.

My clients can expect to leave our sessions feeling that they are being seen and heard. They can also expect to learn new coping strategies for their stressors/struggles.
