Great to meet you!
Hello, and welcome! My name is Amanda Miller, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, and adults, helping them navigate some of life’s most challenging moments.
I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Mansfield University. These academic credentials, combined with my extensive hands-on experience, have equipped me with a deep understanding of mental health and a compassionate approach to treatment.
Over the years, I’ve developed expertise in a wide range of areas, including trauma, domestic violence, behavioral management, crisis intervention, depression, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. I specialize in providing trauma-informed care, and I’m passionate about helping individuals cope with the emotional and psychological impacts of difficult life events.
In addition to my work with general mental health concerns, I currently focus on supporting individuals impacted by cancer. I understand that a cancer diagnosis can create a wave of emotional and psychological challenges for both patients and their loved ones. I offer a safe space for clients to process their emotions, manage anxiety, and find ways to adjust to the changes that cancer often brings to their lives.
Whether you're facing challenges with mental health, struggling with trauma, or dealing with the emotional impact of illness, I am here to support you in navigating these difficult experiences. Together, we can work towards healing, growth, and finding a sense of balance in your life.
Thank you for considering me as a part of your journey to better mental health. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
