Great to meet you!

I am a laid back and easy going person. I fully believe in treating others the way I want to be treated so I do everything I can to ensure that you (the client) are comfortable as we work together. My passion lies in helping others to see that their story doesn't define them but rather helps to shape them into the person that they are becoming.

My approach to therapy

I tend to incorporate a multidisciplinary approach to therapy. What this means is that you (the client) is the most important piece. I pull from a variety of therapeutic modalities to build treatment that works best for you. I see this as a collaborative process and welcome feedback from you as to how you learn and process things, which helps to ensure that you're comfortable with each step of the journey.

What you can expect from me

You (the client) can expect me to be compassionate and engage in rapport building (i.e. getting to know you). I know that the first time you meet with a counselor it can be intimidating or scary. I want to be able to set you at ease and help you as you progress on this journey. I do ask questions, which helps me to get to know you better. I also welcome input and questions from you - ensuring that this is a team effort.
