Great to meet you!

Real empathy, real care, because I've been there. Our “family first” practice is owned by me and my disabled veteran spouse. We are especially passionate about caring for veterans, caregivers, first responders, disabled individuals, and students. We specialize in trauma (PTSD), anxiety disorders, personality disorders, PMDD, perimenopause, and depression.

Currently, we offer telehealth appointments. Our scheduling link for insurance clients is provided. If you're interested in private pay or sliding scale, please contact us via chat or phone call. Medicare opt out provider (private pay). Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need support—our office is flexible, and we’re always happy to work with you. Ohio patients please note, per Ohio prescribing laws we cannot prescribe Schedule II stimulants (e.g. Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin, Concerta).

My approach to therapy

Foremost, my therapeutic approach can be summed up in one word: empathy. I am a patient who also happens to be a provider, and having experienced both sides of care allows me to bring a unique level of compassion and understanding that can’t be taught, bought or replicated. Empathy is the foundation of how I build strong, trusting relationships with my clients.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and precise medication management, combined with supportive, brief therapeutic interventions. If you've tried multiple medications and nothing has helped, we offer GeneSight testing to help identify treatments that are more likely to work for your specific genetic type. I use a variety of methods—such as active listening, validation, elements of therapy, behavioral strategies (CBT/DBT), and even humor—while delivering evidence-based care. I recognize that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health; psychiatry is fluid, and each person’s needs are unique. I believe mental health care should be just as accessible, affordable, and prioritized as any other area of healthcare.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to working with you.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to be genuinely understood and heard. I create a warm, confidential, and supportive environment that’s grounded in empathy—with space for humor when appropriate to help you feel more comfortable and at ease. You've already completed the hardest step because you're here. You're not alone, we will handle the rest together.
