Great to meet you!

Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, difficulty focusing, sleep problems, or feel like your current medication just isn't working? I provide virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults throughout New Jersey. Whether you're considering medication for the first time, restarting treatment, or looking for a new approach to your current medications, I'll work with you to develop a treatment plan that feels comfortable and individualized to you. My approach is warm, collaborative, and judgement-free. I want you to understand your options and feel involved in every treatment decision. Together, we'll look at your symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, lifestyle, and goals to determine the most appropriate next steps.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best mental health care starts with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and open communication. I take a collaborative, patient-centered approach working closely with each client to understand their unique experiences, goals, and concerns. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, and practical coping strategies to support your overall well-being. My goal is to create a safe space where you can feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in your care.

What you can expect from me

During our first appointment, I will take the time to get to know you and discuss what brought you to treatment. I will ask questions about your current concerns, medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and goals so I can gain a complete understanding of your needs. We'll work together to create a personalized treatment plan, discuss whether medication may be helpful, and make sure you have a clear understanding of the next steps. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your path forward. Please note that my practice does not prescribe controlled substances at this time, including stimulant medications (such as Adderall and Vyvanse) or benzodiazepines (such as Xanax and Klonopin). If you are seeking treatment for ADHD or anxiety, I am more than happy to discuss non-controlled medication options when clinically appropriate. I look forward to working together to find a treatment approach that feels right for you!
