Great to meet you!

Life can be a lot at times, and sometimes we (and our nervous system) need support. Living in survival mode for too long can quietly wear down your sense of safety, energy, and hope. I specialize in the impact of trauma, supporting people in healing old wounds while reconnecting them with their inner strengths. I also work with people navigating life’s heavy or challenging moments, including stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach is about seeing you as a whole person and honoring how your relationships, culture, community, and the world around you shape your experience.

My approach to therapy

I believe there are many ways to provide therapy and we will work together to find what is best for you. I follow your lead, honoring your pace and what feels most important to you. I am an EMDR trained therapist and am certified in Brainspotting, these are gentle yet powerful mind-body approaches that support the processing and release of trauma while helping calm the nervous system. Most importantly, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, cared for, respected, and truly heard.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to get to know you, in a thoughtful, supportive space. We’ll talk about what brings you in, explore any goals or hopes you have for therapy, and go over some of your history to help me understand the bigger picture. There’s no pressure to share everything at once, we’ll move at your pace, and you’re always in control of what you choose to share.

We’ll also go over some basic logistics, such as confidentiality, scheduling, and how I work as a therapist.

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve done this before, together we can work on clarifying what's important to you and how you want to show up for yourself and others.
