Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and hold a post-graduate certification in Object Relations Psychotherapy from the International Psychotherapy Institute. At the start of my career, I worked in an outpatient rehab program helping individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. I have been in private practice and serving as a local youth council’s Program Director, providing youth and families with tools for social-emotional growth and healthy attachments since 2019.

My approach to therapy

In order to best assist you, I need to first understand you as the unique person you are. I use an eclectic approach to tailor therapy to each individual’s identified needs by combining mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) approaches. I believe our defenses are in place during times of trauma and stress for a reason, however they can also stop us from personal growth which is what I hope to help you with.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to assist you in learning healthy coping skills to manage your symptoms but to also explore the root cause of them in an effort to reduce them. We’ll take a look at how unresolved issues of our past can leak into our present functioning and work together to identify patterns of behavior and make effective change.
