Great to meet you!

My name is Amanda and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been working with families and adolescents for over a decade. I graduated with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2011 and became licensed as a Mental Health Counselor with the state of Florida in 2013. I have worked in a variety of treatment settings including: outpatient clinics, in schools, in home, and in group homes. I enjoy taking a collaborative approach with my clients and working together to achieve YOUR goals!

My approach to therapy

My primary treatment modalities include using Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) based treatment planning to address concerns with mood, coping, and behavior. My clients will always be treated with a Person-Centered Therapeutic Approach, and your goals will always be at the center of our sessions together.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to discuss what sparked their interest in participating in therapy and what personal goals they have in their therapeutic work. The first session is about building trust in the therapeutic environment and understanding how we can work collaboratively to achieve your goals.
