Great to meet you!

Starting therapy for the first time can feel intimidating, especially when you aren't sure what to expect. I'm a warm, down-to-earth therapist who believes you should be able to bring your whole self into the room. I especially enjoy working with creatives, musicians, and anyone who is a little nerdy or geeky at heart!

My passion lies in supporting adults through trauma, addictions, ADHD, anxiety, life transitions, depression, and developing self-worth. I am formally trained in Brainspotting, up to Phase 2 and have been a practicing Social Worker for 5 years!

My approach to therapy

  • First and foremost I am a human just like you. We're going to process deep and heavy themes at times. I want to build the safety for you to express and feel the emotions that have felt too hard or too scary to access. We're also going to have moments where we laugh; I'll crack a joke or two when appropriate. I want to hear about the good things and celebrate the moments you want to celebrate!
  • I bring a collaborative and compassionate approach, where we'll work toward building a healthier relationship with yourself while developing practical tools for navigating change, relationships, trauma, and recovery.

What you can expect from me

If this is your first time in therapy, you can expect us to start wherever you are. We'll talk about what brought you in, what has been feeling difficult, and what you hope could be different. You don't need the perfect words or a clear set of goals. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, asking questions, and even laughing a little, while we begin figuring out what support would be most helpful for you.
