Great to meet you!

Sometimes events or ideas we have about ourselves seem to keep tripping us up, and I want to help you explore those so you can make the changes you want to. I became a counselor to do just that. I'm an Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Montana. I specialize in treating trauma, relationship challenges, and EMDR. I'm also in a PhD program focused on Counselor Education and Supervision.

My approach to therapy

I am curious, want to help you explore, and try to help counseling be fun. I believe that you will always know more about your life and feelings than I do, so I'll follow your lead in what seems helpful and what doesn't. I come from a person-centered framework, and I want you to feel your life is meaningful and has purpose.

What you can expect from me

I hope you feel supported from day one. First sessions are always a little bit different for a few reasons. We have to cover some of the administrative stuff and policies that you need to be aware of. I also want to hear as much of your story as we can squeeze in, and we'll talk about how you see counseling making it possible to move forward.
