Great to meet you!

HI, my name is Amanda Irwin, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia with almost 20 years of clinical experience.

I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and I hold a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University.

I received most of my behavioral health training at a local hospital, but I have also worked in Community Mental Health, and I have been in private practice for the past 6 years.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I specialize in anxiety, depression and bipolar disorders. Because of my extensive clinical experience, I’ve learned very effective ways to help people manage their challenges regardless of diagnosis. .

What you can expect from our first session

One of my favorite quotes is by Joseph Campbell, where he states, “the privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.” This is my approach to therapy.
