Great to meet you!

Have you been searching for a compassionate, motivated therapist who is highly attuned with the needs of children and teenagers? Do you feel overwhelmed and in need of additional support with your child's behavioral outbursts and/or school related concerns? Are your teen's mood swings, anxiety, and/or depression becoming increasingly concerning? If this sounds familiar, then I am glad you are here! My specialties as a clinician include children, pre-teens, adolescents ages: 3-17 as well as their caregivers.

After getting to know you and your child, it is important to then understand your child's goals and expectations for therapy. I want your child or teen to feel heard and validated in their experiences.

I offer various interventions that are catered to specific treatment as well.

Taking that first step to find help is sometimes all it takes to get the ball rolling towards progress. I am here as a resource, a guide, and most importantly, to offer a space for us to work together to reach your child's milestones. Wherever your child or teen is on their walk, I am right there with you all, every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

For younger children, I incorporate a playful, animated atmosphere that includes play therapy, sand tray, as well as setting limits. For older children and teens, I offer a youthful approach, as well as increased cognitive focus and talk therapy. For all clients I utilize curiosity with an emphasis on rapport building. Caregivers are involved to ensure follow through of treatment.

What you can expect from me

During intake I ensure I capture a holistic view of the presenting concerns your child or teen may be experiencing. I take the first several sessions to further assess your child or teen's needs and then discuss with you what treatment is best suited for them. When working with all youth I take into account developmental capacity.
