Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Amanda. I moved to Colorado after finishing my Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Mid America State University in Oklahoma. Since entering the counseling field in early 2020, I have had the privilege of working with clients who experience addiction, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and relationship issues.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. Whether you're dealing with stress, navigating life transitions, or coping with trauma, I am here to help you find your path to healing and growth. I specialize in a range of areas including addiction, ADHD, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, depression, family relationships, intimate/romantic relationships, and life transitions.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I am committed to providing personalized care that meets your unique needs. Together, we will explore your challenges and work towards achieving your goals. If you're ready to take the next step in your journey, I invite you to reach out and start this process with me. I look forward to working with you.

My approach to therapy

I consider myself to have an eclectic approach to therapy, pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, Person-Centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. My style and approach would probably be described as laid back and friendly. I firmly believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and I will work with you to figure out what you need to make the most of our time together each week.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that at the end of each session my clients will walk away feeling empowered and like they have to tools to be able to tackle the challenges of daily life.
