Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, understood, and actively involved in the process. I strive to create a supportive and welcoming space where individuals and families can explore challenges at their own pace while building insight, confidence, and practical skills for everyday life.

My work is rooted in a holistic, trauma-informed approach that considers emotional, behavioral, developmental, and relational factors. I value collaboration and tailor sessions to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Whether we are working through anxiety, life transitions, family stress, or emotional regulation, my focus is on helping clients feel empowered and capable both in and outside of sessions.

I work with children, teens, and adults, and I often incorporate developmentally appropriate strategies, creativity, and evidence-based practices to support growth and healing. My goal is for clients to leave therapy feeling supported, understood, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and holistic. I work to understand each client within the context of their relationships, life experiences, and developmental stage. Sessions are tailored to the individual, with an emphasis on building emotional awareness, regulation skills, and practical tools that can be used outside of therapy.

I integrate evidence-based practices with creativity and flexibility, particularly when working with children and teens. I value pacing and readiness, and I prioritize creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions and experiences. Therapy is a partnership, and goals are developed together to support meaningful, sustainable growth.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a time to connect and get oriented. We will spend time talking about what brings you to therapy, what feels most important right now, and what you are hoping for. My priority is creating a safe, welcoming space where you feel comfortable and supported. There is no pressure to share everything at once, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you.
