Great to meet you!

Therapy is a process that is unique to each individual. I take the time to meet clients where they are in life to empower them to take control, become more mindful, and improve daily functioning when it comes to interpersonal relationships, work, and overall well-being. I received my Master of Arts degree from the University of South Florida. As a licensed mental health counselor I have gained experience working with adults, children, and families in the community for over 10 years.

A bit about my approach to therapy

With my clients I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to encourage clients to become more mindful of the link between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. With emphasis on internal dialogue and mindfulness techniques, I work with clients to regulate emotions, challenge negative self-talk and look for evidence to dispute and support core beliefs. My goal is to help clients improve self-esteem, and reduce critical self-talk to improve daily functioning.

What you can expect from our first session

If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, changes in mood, grieving the loss of a love one, or feeling stuck in your current journey through life, please reach out so we may connect to determine what next steps are needed to make a change. Therapy is hard work, but taking initiative to make a change already shows you have the tools and the motivation to do the work.
