Amanda is a compassionate clinician and believes in meeting her clients where they are. She received her master’s in clinical social work from the University of Central Florida and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Amanda is licensed to practice and offers services in both Florida and Kansas.

Amanda is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor®, a Health At Every Size® (HAES) Provider, and is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Amanda provides a holistic approach within a non-judgmental environment, helping you set realistic goals and utilize coping skills. She has extensively studied eating disorders and eating disorder treatment modalities. She has years of experience working with a wide range of clients and populations, helping those with chronic illness, depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, and disordered eating.

My approach to therapy

Amanda utilizes a variety of treatment modalities including CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Amanda is also a Level 1 Clinical Gottman Method Couples Therapy counselor. Helping her clients reach their potential by highlighting the importance of self-care within the therapeutic process is Amanda's passion.
