Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Amanda, I graduated with my Masters in Family Therapy from Drexel University in 2016. Since then, I have worked with a variety of individuals, couples, and families. I am trained in family systems therapy, collaborative problem solving, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotion-focused therapy, as well as several other treatment modalities.

My approach to therapy

Whether you’re feeling anxious or depressed, navigating complex family dynamics, discovering your identity, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to help. I work with individuals, couples, and families, and I specialize in anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ identities, oppression, parenting challenges, and interpersonal conflict. My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and systemic. Tailored to your unique needs and goals. I want to empower you to take the driver’s seat in your own life.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make that first step a little easier. I enjoy getting to know clients on a human level in the first session, as well as getting your background, history, preferences in therapy, and goals for treatment.
