Great to meet you!

Hello and thank you for taking time to learn about my practice. I currently am accepting new patients for medication evaluation and ongoing management, with a holistic approach that can include evidence based complimentary treatments (supplements) and lifestyle approaches. My psychiatric training was at John's Hopkins University, with pediatric psychiatry training at Boston Children's Hospital. I specialize in anxiety spectrum, OCD, ADHD, & the effect of learning differences & endocrine conditions on mental health (I was previously the Lead Nurse Practitioner for the Joslin Diabetes Center, Boston MA.) I understand deeply the impact that life stressors & other health concerns can exert on mental wellbeing and take a holistic approach in providing mental health care.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is one of creating a space of openness, acceptance, and true partnership that begins with listening to your concerns and treatment objectives. Together, we will develop a care plan featuring an array of evidence-based strategies including pharmacological, nutritional, activity / movement, mindfulness (embodiment) and others tools to improve your wellbeing.

What you can expect from our first session

A sense that you have been heard, with no judgement; a true collaboration; a feeling of support, openness and acceptance.

On average, you can expect the first (new patient) visit to be 60 minutes and follow-up visits to be 30 minutes. After you book an appointment on Headway and upload your insurance information, I will email you a link to the secure Electronic Health Record system I use (Tebra) to sign NamaPsych PLLC Consent and Practice Policy agreements.
