Great to meet you!

I worked in intensive mental health treatment for 4+ years where I honed my approach to therapy and developed a love for the group process. In the individual therapy space I bring warmth, curiosity and a desire to know your full story to support you in addressing barriers and achieving goals. I'm experienced in treating significant mental health challenges, trauma, family conflict and codependence among other issues.

My approach to therapy

My style is predominantly relational and interpersonal and I draw heavily upon acceptance commitment therapy and self-compassion. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and consider the impact of trauma and attachment history. I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals achieve their goals and feel content owning the entirety of their story, and I would love to help you do the same!

What you can expect from me

After working with me, you’ll have a greater sense of meaning and purpose even related to hard and painful parts of your life - those experiences will be chapters rather than the defining theme of your story - and you’ll feel confident to navigate relationships and situations from the present with compassion for yourself and others.
